Welcome
to TeeTalk
where you can read my stories
from Tokyo, Japan. In fact this site was discontinued since March
2001, after I came back to Thailand. However, since
X'mas 2003 I decided to put all the site up again. Hopefully that
you'd find something interesting here. Thanks for your visit. (=^.^=)
Hi (=^.^=) today while i surf the net, i found one site that did exactly what i think someone should do...
as you know, the tv commercials in japan are somehow creative to somewhat weired ones. and from times to times you`ll see a hollywood famous figure starring exclusively in these japanese tv commercials.
"These stars are doing insanely cheesy commercials in Japan and making big bucks over there," said David Alexander, a partner at Zero One Design. "We thought it would be interesting to put it on the site and let anyone look at them."
anyway, i saw the site and think that the advertisements are a bit old... and it could be a while or never at all before they will put the newest ones on...
story is...right now the site has been notified of violating copyrighted materials by ads producers and other parties. can you believe it?
well, i`m just hoping that they will put the Meg Ryan featuring in her latest ads (...very nice one..and not on the site yet..) soon. as well as a very funny credit card advertised by Leonardo DiCaprio.....
um, if they don`t, should i do it myself? well, guess not..... :-) i`m so afraid of being sued.... :-) huhu
check the site at Gaijinagogo.com :: also another site is interesting if you like to view interesting ads::AdCritic.com check out their "Breast Cancer Society of Canada" in the Cam Exam under the Top 10 section.
::warning - long download time, but you`ll like it.... don`t miss it.... :: :: 2004 UPDATE:: the AdCritic.com site has now turned into a paid site, so there's no longer free stuffs. too bad ne.
Hi yesterday i talked to my sister from Thailand and she mentioned that her friend who visited here also thinks that cake in Japan is very delicious. this, affected me somehow, as today the first thing i did after i woke up is to go out and buy it from the shop near my train station..
Hi, it is my lunch time now. i just hop in to see if i can upload this note to you.. well, there `s nothing much so far for today, only that it was so cold this morning and there was raining even now. ahhh i really wanted to skip the school and sleep all day at home.. the weather is a bit bad to go out and wander around..... anyway, have a nice lunch time for those in thailand. (=^.^=)
Today i woke up late as a result of staying up so late last night. anyway, i did go to school at 10:30 and visited the elementary school.
the students there are marvelous. we`re formed into groups, and 4 students taking care of 2 of us. my group consisted of pra-chatpong and 4 sweet students. they are nakamura chan, tsukada kun, endou chan and yuasa chan. i will post their photo this coming weekend at the j class homepage
we went to Tokyo Daigaku, one of the most prestigious schools in japan, and other two interesting places nearby the elementary school.
i just feel happy having a great chance visiting the school and meeting these nice students. if you see how they showed us the way, prepared all the document for each visitor and mostly their hospitality, you won`t be surprised and surely feel much the same way.
WOW, i just noticed that i was away for almost 4 days since last sunday. where have i been?
on monday, i went to school as usual and took kanji exam. in the evening i met friend, and having a great dinner at place near my dorm. i just found that the ice-cream overthere is very delicious..but expensive as usual.
also, i went to change my usb connector and came back to find out that the new one just got the same problem on the 3rd jack.... after looking, not reading, at all those kanji and japanese explanation on the back-side of the connector package, i just decided to live with it.
tuesday, i went to school a bit late. the weather was so cold in the morning, so i was at school around 9:40.. my class starts at 9:10.
this was a happy day, the class was fun, as usual, and i think that it was due to bando sensei`s < teacher > generous character.
wednesday, i had a 5 chapters kanji test today, and no need to wait for the result, i knew it right away that i failed. man, maybe i have to accept that i`m too old to learn all those kanji in the quick manner... salute to all those young men and women in my class.. they are great at remembering things...
** i miss thai food a lot, especially recently i always have a day dream of big floating plate of sate < pork barbeque > around my head.... hehe....
Hi, It`s 2:36 in the morning and i just woke up about 2 hours ago. tomorrow, in fact - today morning, i will have a japanese grammar test for the past 5 chapters. however today i don`t feel like studying at all. a bit bored and lazy, especially when i log on... also, today afternoon, my class will visit the school students in suidobashi area, think that it should be fun.. it will be my first experience too, talking to those elementary school students... (=^.^=)
Last night I just went to sleep very late, almost 7o`clock in the morning. That`s why today I woke up so late as well. However, today`s weather in Tokyo was quite so good. There`s sunshine and not so cold. And when I went outside to Ikebukuro, I noticed that many people were also waiting for the train at the station. Guess that the weather just somehow cast some effect on people activity.
Hi everyone, After a long school break I`ve made, today I just resume to my study. For the past weeks, many friends and relatives had come all the way from Thailand to Tokyo. It was nice time for me to meeting them again. Well, in fact, I was a bit sad when I sent off my last visitor, Yai, at the train station 2 days ago.
Also, I was sad that it would be a while before I could go back to see my family again. Anyway, until then, please enjoy visiting the site and give me your suggestions. (=^.^=)
